Database generation and exploitation for efficient and intensive simulation studies

Abstract

This communication proposes a study on the application of surrogate modelling for intensive simulations studies. In particular, stochastic inversion approaches, model assisted probability of detection (MAPOD) and sensitivity analysis studies are addressed. Some illustrative examples, corresponding to real applications and involving different non-destructive testing methods, are also presented.
