The phenomenology, as observed using a large variety of measurement techniques, is consistent with the expectations from RF-sheath rectification. Emphasis is then put on the complex 3-Dimensional (3D) spatial patterns of RF-SOL interaction, in relation to the magnetic topology and the spatial distribution of RF currents over the metallic structures surrounding the RF wave-launchers. Dependence on the local plasma parameters in the antenna vicinity is also briefly addressed. The final part discusses implications for future devices. %G English %Z the JET team %Z the ASDEX upgrade team %Z the EAST team %Z the WEST Team %2 https://cea.hal.science/cea-03467405/document %2 https://cea.hal.science/cea-03467405/file/L.%20Colas%20IAEA_FEC_2020_paper_IOS_5_1_R1.pdf %L cea-03467405 %U https://cea.hal.science/cea-03467405 %~ CEA %~ OPENAIRE %~ DSM-IRFM %~ CEA-DRF %~ CEA-CAD
