The properties of these nanostructures are studied in collaboration with teams of experts in order to discover unexpected properties. We synthesize all kinds of monodisperse gold NPs including perfect spheres, disks, cubes and microplates (hexagonal, triangular) which are produced only in few laboratories. We develop ligand-exchange and sample preparation protocols to provide suitable gold-molecule nanohybrids depending on the targeted application. Here, we will discuss parameters that can affect heat, light and hot carriers generation. %G English %2 https://cea.hal.science/cea-03412368/document %2 https://cea.hal.science/cea-03412368/file/Marguet_PEP21.pdf %L cea-03412368 %U https://cea.hal.science/cea-03412368 %~ CEA %~ CNRS %~ PUBNIMBE %~ INC-CNRS %~ IRAMIS-NIMBE %~ CEA-UPSAY %~ UNIV-PARIS-SACLAY %~ TEST-HALCNRS %~ UNIVERSITE-PARIS-SACLAY %~ GS-ENGINEERING %~ IRAMIS %~ GS-CHIMIE %~ GS-PHYSIQUE %~ INSTITUT-SCIENCES-LUMIERE %~ TEST2-HALCNRS
